Programme Coordinator

The Trust is at an exciting stage in its development where we are looking for a programme coordinator to support the needs of our busy outdoor centre. The role will be 25 hours per week and will take on a variety of tasks including weekly staff scheduling, taking a lead on the marketing of the centre’s activities and supporting the background administration of the centres Duke of Edinburgh programme and wider achievement programmes.

You will report directly to the Centre and Operations Manager and will take a lead on implementing an annual marketing strategy, ensuring all Willowgate experiences are staffed, providing admin support for the instructor team among other duties. This role comes with a flexible working pattern based at Willowgate Activity Centre. Working patterns can be discussed at interview and can be flexible to allow a candidate to complete this role around school runs or other commitments.

Essential skills & Experience

  • A sound understanding of Microsoft Office including Word & Excel
  • Ability to work to specific targets & deadlines
  • Comfortable and confident with a range of social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, Trip Advisor etc
  • Ability to work on your own and manage your own time effectively

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Marketing experience & background
  • Previous experience with Mailchimp

Groundskeeper

We have immediate vacancy available for enthusiastic, experienced grounds maintenance person to join our Team at Willowgate Activity Centre . You will join as part of the Team based at Willowgate Activity Centre, Perth taking the lead on keeping the grounds clean and tidy year-round. Duties include: Grass cutting, strimming, weed control, litter collection, pruning hedges and shrubs and general building maintenance. The work involves the use of pedestrian mowers, ride on mowers, brush cutters, blowers, hedge cutters and hand tools. Additionally, there may be some snow clearance and gritting duties during the winter months.

Reporting directly to the Willowgate Centre Manager & Operations Manager your work a minimum of 20 hours per week with up to 40 a week during the busy summer season.

Required experience & qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience in a grounds or landscape maintenance background is essential
  • A full driving license, preferably including B+E, and PA1 & PA6
  • Brush cutter
  • First Aid
