Clubs
Come to Willowgate every week, make new friends, whilst improving your skills.
Providing a space for the local community to continue to engage, enjoy and access what we do here at Willowgate is really important to us.
We have a variety of clubs which allow lots of people to enjoy what we've got on offer on a weekly basis. From Bike clubs, Wednesday clubs and clubs for those with additional support needs, we have a range of things on offer to help keep the fun going all year long!
ASN CLUB
Be wild, have fun and feel supported with our ASN club!
Our ASN club is for young people (7+) with additional supports needs who are looking for a supportive space where they can have fun and be a little wild.
During the summer months we meet 17:00- 18:30 on Wednesday evenings where our club members enjoy learning various paddlesports (or in many cases running and jumping into the water).
During winter we set a programme of activities which often include archery, bushcraft, walks in local places etc. This year our club members are working towards their John Muir Award over winter. The club runs on a Sunday afternoon once it gets too dark on a Wednesday evening.
If you’re interested in joining our ASN club, please give us a call to chat further. We like to know as much about new members as possible to we can ensure your first experience with us is as positive as possible. The first session is free, as we know that it can sometimes be a bit intimidating coming to a new place for the first time.

WEDNESDAY CLUB
For adults with additional support needs, the Wednesday club is here for you to enjoy!
Our Wednesday club is for adults with additional support needs who love spending time being active and trying new things.
Most of our club members love spending time on the water so that’s what we do until the weather gets really bad. Other options include archery, bushcraft, John Muir Award etc. We cater the club activities to whomever is attending the club, as we get to know our club members well over the weeks (and in some cases years).
We meet each Wednesday afternoon from 14:00- 15:30. We aim for the club to be as inclusive as possible, so if you'd like to join us please do give us a call and we can answer any questions you may have.
The first session is free to allow you to settle in and see if it’s right for you. We can provide photos, storyboard images and any information you would like to make your first experience as welcoming as possible. See here for more information about what facilities and equipment we have available.
