New Perth Museum Opening
It's been a long time coming but the opening for the new museum is almost here and we are really excited to see the new building and the exhibits inside, with Stone of Destiny being the must see exhibit in the Museum.
If you are visiting Perth for opening weekend, there is lots to see and visit all around Perth City, why not explore the Fair City?!
The Museum has events running alongside the opening such as;
-The Unicorn Experience
-Make your own Maori Musical Instrument
-Arts and Crafts
-Workshops
-and History talks
Perth Theatre is offering a flavour of Perthshire to celebrate Opening weekend, with a Local suppliers tasting menu and working with Perth Food tours to share local history and fun facts whilst enjoying a selection of delicious food from local venues.
And if getting to know some local businesses and enjoy even more food, Perth Farmers Market is on too! There are around 50 stalls and the producers themselves run thier stalls and enjoy talking with their customers and getting to know new ones!
and we can't forget our neck of the woods!
Willowgate Cafe is a wonderful little spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of city centre and you can enjoy lovely views of the river while enjoying some delicious food.
Willowgate Activity Centre are running daily Taster Experiences and working with Lindores Abbey Distillery for a fun afternoon of Axe throwing, Laser Clay shooting and finishing up with a wonderful and informative Whiskey tour.
