Taster Climb
Half Day & Full Day

Looking for a fun activity the whole family can enjoy? Come rock climbing with Willowgate Adventure Centre! We’ll head out at 9am to Benny Beg, located just outside Crieff, an idyllic spot, perfect for a relaxed day in the sunshine while you take on a gentle climbing challenge.

NB: No prior experience is needed. Wear weather appropriate clothing and bring along some lunch

Indoor to Outdoor

Are you an enthusiastic indoor climber and want to take your first steps on real rock? This course is perfect for you. From Willowgate Adventure centre we will travel to a suitable crag and go through the equipment and begin gaining the experience you will require to start your outdoor climbing adventure.

Learn to Sport Climb

This course is perfect if you have ever wanted to enjoy a quick days climbing at a local crag or you’re wanting to travel to Europe and enjoy the climbing experience there. You will get an introduction to the equipment used in sport climbing and learn how to look after yourself and climbing partner at a crag.

Learn to rock climb

This is for people that want to climb in all the amazing places that climbing can take you, in the UK and abroad. You will get an introduction to the equipment used in traditional climbing and learn how to begin your first steps in trad climbing. You will then work up to leading graded climbs under a qualified instructor. Improve your climbing skills if you are lacking confidence in your technical skills, maybe it has been a while since you last climbed or you usually follow your friend but you want to gain confidence to do this. Then this course will help you take those next steps. We will look at your knowledge and experience then build on that as the day progresses.

Confidence in the Hills

Want to have the confidence to enjoy the Scottish Hills without relying on good weather or more experienced hill walkers, then this is perfect for you. You will learn how to navigate, what to carry with you and what to do if things don’t go to plan.
