Kayak Hire

Practice your skills with a kayak hire on our lagoon.

If you've been to one of our Kayak Taster Experiences or maybe done one of our courses, a good next step is to come and practice your new skills by hiring a kayak. We have tandems and singles, both available to hire, so it's perfect for all the family.

For our rentals, you'll be responsible for your own safety and should therefore be confident with self-rescues and basic paddling skills. All rentals will be on one of the Willowgate lagoons and will include a buoyancy aid which we require you to wear on the water at all times, as well as shoes. All Under 18's must be supervised by an adult who will take responsibility for their safety.

Unfortunately at this time we do not allow rental customers to take the paddleboards on the river or offsite. That being said, if you do fancy an adventure, why not check out our guided kayak tours.

If you have your own paddleboard or kayak, you are welcome to use it in one of our lagoons for a £5 fee. This is a popular option for those wanting somewhere local and safe to hone their paddling skills. We also have a Thursday night SUP Club where lots of people come together to have a paddle, meet fellow paddlers and get some tips and tricks from the instructor onsite. Boards are available to rent during this time also (at a reduced rate!)
