Volunteer

All levels of Duke of Edinburgh require a time commitment to volunteering.

Here at Willowgate we can either set you up with an amazing and supportive local organisation for volunteer opportunities or, if we have vacancies, you can come and volunteer with us here.

Our volunteers do things such as...

• Help with set-up & pack away of our activities: there's always lots of kayaks and paddles which need moving!
• Help organising and keep our centre tidy: you can imagine with this many people running around things can get a little hectic sometimes
• Help with groundskeeping work: maybe you're good at fixing things, or want to help keep the ground tidy
• Help with admin work: there's always resources which need laminating, or jobs on the computer which need doing

We like to thank our volunteers in a range of ways, some take advantage of a spare space on a course or tour and others like the ability to join in with the hustle and bustle of activities at the centre.
