17th October Survival Day 9:00-16:30 £35pp 7 – 15 years old

Fed up with your kids stuck around your feet all day in the holidays? Want them to get more of this beautiful Scottish fresh air?

Why not send them along to us here at Willowgate where they will be shown how to survive in the ‘wilds’, well our wee forest area!

Don’t worry, there will be no crocodile wrestling or snake charming but they will have fun whilst learning a new skill or two!

They will learn the basics of fire lighting, from using made made resources to more natural resources, they may even learn how to cut a trout or pluck a pheasant and cook it over the camp fire!

They will take a walk on the ‘wild side’ and try and use their senses to track animals and discover which animals live around Willowgate.

Don’t worry if you are ever stuck outside with no cover as your budding little ‘Bear Gryll’s’ will know how to keep you safe and sheltered as they will learn how to make a shelter from natural resources and even how to filter unclean water so you will never go thirsty!

Hungry? Not to worry with their newly found scavenging skills they will be able to tel you what will be safe to eat and what is going to give you that bad belly!

Its for ages 7 – 15 year olds

Its £35pp for the full day 9am to 4:30pm

Bring with you a change of clothes, shoes, a packed lunch and some snacks!! (Just in case they don’t find any food in the wilds, also better to be prepared! 🙂 ) Wet weather gear and Wellies also recommended.
