What Are Adventure Days?

Its Official our adventure days are open for 2020!!

As with all things currently these will run a little differently with places limited each day. Groups will mainly run independently from each other. You can find out more information here.

A brief summary is:

  • 8 young people per group
  • 2 groups a day – different start & finish times to control flow
  • Young people will enter a “field of play” while taking part in activities and closes contact with other children will be likely throughout the day
  • Currently no changing facilities are open but an outdoor changing area is supplied.
  • Same awesome fun activity days!

Drop them off with a change of clothes, some shoes that can get wet, a packed lunch and some snacks and we’re take care of the rest.

We aim to return your child tired with a smile on their face (quite possibly covered in dirt!!!!)

What are Challenge Days?

Created to challenge some of older guests in the school holidays with 3 days to choose from!!!

Challenge days are aimed at our older adventurers between 12 – 16 years old.

We run 3 types of challenge days throughout the year, these are:

  • Paddle-sport Development – The young people will spend the day taking part in multiple paddle-sports activities such as Kayaking, SUP & Canoeing with them completing a variety of challenges finishing the day with your British Canoeing Start, Discover or Explore Award!!!
  • River Warriors – Our Instructors will take the group out for a day on the River Tay witnessing wildlife, exploring islands and playing plenty of games along the way!!
  • Its a knockout – Young people will be split into teams and complete tasks throughout the day gaining points, at the end of the day the team with the most points will be crowned Knockout Kings & Queens!!! Tasks can include activities such as Giant SUP, Archery Tag, Survival Challenge & much more.

What are Survival Days?

Have you got a keen exploring looking to become more like Bear Grylls? Then our survival day is perfect!!

Our Survival Days are aimed to get young people into the wild and learning all kinds of survival skills. Survival Days can include:

  • Shelter Building
  • Fire lighting
  • Water Filtration
  • Tracking
  • Survival Tin’s
  • Water Crossing, Safety & Rescue

The days last from 09:00 – 16:30 so their’s no need to organise any extra childcare!!!
